Mission

Mission The Graduate School of Next-Generation Secondary Batteries at the University of Ulsan was established to drive the development and advancement of new growth engines in the region. As we enter the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and carbon neutrality, secondary batteries have emerged as a key technology. With the rapid expansion of the electric vehicle (EV) market, the demand for secondary battery technologies continues to rise significantly.
Recognizing this trend, the University of Ulsan founded the Graduate School of Next-Generation Secondary Batteries to position the battery industry as a new growth engine for Ulsan’s economy. The school aims to cultivate innovative professionals equipped with both advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills, capable of responding proactively to the ongoing industrial transformation.

The Graduate School of Next-Generation Secondary Batteries at the University of Ulsan aims to cultivate highly skilled professionals who will lead the research and development of next-generation secondary battery technologies.
